Editorial policy
Three roles on every page
Each page is written by one person, edited by a second and checked against the sources by a third. All three are named on the page with the date the figures were last recalculated, and each has a page of their own saying what they cover.
Writing and measuring are separate jobs here. The person who writes a broker page cannot change the figure in it: figures come from the measured base and are recalculated for all 55 brokers at once.
Corrections
A wrong figure is corrected in place, and the correction is listed in the page's own verified strip with its date. We do not quietly overwrite, because a reader who acted on the old number deserves to see that it changed.
If you have found an error, write to corrections@rift-ledger.pages.dev with the page and the figure. A correction that changes a ranking is applied before anything else.
Commercial content
A paid placement is labelled PROMOTED, is excluded from the computed order, and never takes the first position of a ranking. Partner links do not move a score.
Brokers with no partner programme are measured and listed on exactly the same terms. The base is the base.
Regulator warnings
A warning from a regulator is shown at the top of that broker's page and in every table it appears in. It does not change the formula — a warning is not a measurement — but the broker is removed from selections for beginners and for the most established firms.
